What is a Diocesan High School Retreat?
The Diocesan High School Retreat is an opportunity for students in grades 9-12 to set aside time away from school and other activities to focus on their relationship with God. Through small group discussions, personal and communal prayer experiences, Eucharistic Adoration, The Sacrament of Reconciliation, The Celebration of Holy Mass and recreation; we help foster the personal spiritual growth of the students.
What are “You are CHOSEN” and “You are CALLED” Retreats?
These are retreats designed for those preparing for Confirmation. You are Chosen is designed for those in their first year of preparation (often, but not exclusively at the beginning of preparation). You are Called is designed for those in their second year of preparation (often at the conclusion of the preparation journey). Parishes or regions of parishes host these opportunities for a day of reflection. Both generally include Holy Mass and You are Called often includes the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
