Rochester Area Right to Life:

Announces a Pro-Life Oratorical Contest for High School Juniors and Seniors.  Create a short pro-life speech (5 – 7 minutes) on abortion, infanticide, euthanasia, or stem cells and present it Saturday, April 11, 2015  10 AM to 12 Noon at the Greece Assembly of God (750 Long Pond Road, Rochester).  There is no charge, but you must register in advance.

First place prize is $300, second place prize $100, third place prize $50
In addition, the winner has the right to go to the state-level contest in Albany on May 9, competing to be the one to represent New York at the National Right to Life Convention July 9 – 11 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Freshman?  Sophomore?  Or younger? We have special opportunities to allow younger students to participate in a non-competitive way for practice.  No age limits.

A student oriented Pro-Life Conference taking place Saturday, April 18, 2015 at McQuaid Jesuit

An Education and Advocacy Gathering Topics will include: A Teen’s Perspective on Being Pro Life; Modern Day Slavery; Euthanasia; Poverty as a Life Issue; A Hospital Chaplain’s Perspective on Life and Death; Pro Life 101 for Middle School Students; Women’s Equality Act; Being a Pro Life Feminist.
